Gabriela Gołaszewska, born in Poland in 1995, has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in voice from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in June 2019.
The young soprano’s studied repertoire includes roles such as Pamina, Susanna, Zerlina, Manon, Norina, Adina, Lauretta and Micaela. In May 2019 she for the very first time took part in an international vocal competition and was awarded the 1st prize in the category of best female voice as well as several special awards at the XVIII Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition in Poland.
In February 2019, she sang Cunegonde in Bernstein’s Candide at the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk, and will reprise this role in 2020. In a student production of Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor she will be portraying the role of Hanna at the chamber auditorium of the Polish National Opera, Teatr Wielki, in Warsaw.
